2601 Parkway Book Club
The 2601 Parkway Book Group meets every 6 weeks on a Monday night at 7:30. See calendar for exact dates and titles. Books are selected in advance by members. Spirited and thoughtful discussions are led by readers on a rotating, voluntary basis. New book lovers are welcome to join and meet new friends.

2601 Short Story Group
The short story group meets the first Thursday of each month from 4 PM to 5 PM. The members of the group choose the stories they will read and discuss. These stories are emailed to the group members by the group leader in advance so they are not obligated to purchase or borrow any books.
Building & Grounds Committee
The Building & Grounds Committee provides evaluation and insight into how to better use the common space of 2601 Parkway Condominiums. The committee deals with everything from recommending contractors, to providing guidance on floor designs, to changing out the holiday decor in the lobby. The safety, security, maintenance, comfort, and cleanliness of the building is at the forefront of this committee's discussions when it comes to the use of public space in the building and on the Association's grounds.
The Building & Grounds Committee meets on the third Thursday of each month at 7:00PM.

Communications Committee
The Communications Committee organizes and designs many facets of the printed and electronic information posted throughout the building. The Committee's main priority is making the Association's news, updates, and alerts available for all residents. Other tasks include monitoring and organizing the bulletin boards and providing assistance with the Association's calendars.
The Communications Committee meets on the third Wednesday of the month at 5:30PM.

Covenants Committee
The Covenants Committee assists the Board of Directors in regulating and approving external designs, architectural modifications, and the maintenance of the Association's common areas. They also review and modify the Rules & Regulations of the Association and provide guidance on conflict resolution. This is all done in order to meet the needs of the committee's ultimate goal, which is to promote the general welfare and safety of the community.
The Covenants Committee meets on the second Thursday of the month at 7:00PM.

Craft Club
The Craft Club is a group of residents who enjoy all sorts of DIY activities from traditional crafting, to knitting, to cross-stitching, to card-making and more. Residents are free to bring whatever craft they are currently working on to the Community Room and enjoy the company of other like-minded residents.
The Craft Club meets every Monday at 7:00PM.

Elections Committee
The Elections Committee develops procedures for the annual elections of the 2601 Parkway Condominium Association Board of Directors. They convene 65 days prior to each annual meeting in order to develop and administer these procedures in accordance with the governing documents of the Association.
The Elections Committee meets regularly starting sixty-five (65) days prior to the Annual Meeting & Board Elections.

Financial Oversight Committee
The Financial Oversight Committee concerns itself with the many facets of the Association's finances. The committee reviews the monthly financial statements and the yearly budget in order to make sure that the Association lives up to its fiscal responsibility.

Green Committee
The Green Committee's mission is to provide information and practical solutions to ensure a prosperous condominium community that sustains both a healthy earth and healthy lives for residents. Some programs that the Committee has introduced to the building include a local CSA (community-supported agriculture), composting, battery recycling, electric efficiency programs, and much more!
The Green Committee meets on the first Tuesday of the month at 7:30 PM.

Social Committee
The Social Committee organizes social events for residents, primarily the annual Summer Fest and Holiday Party. Additionally, the Social Committee plans monthly events such as movie and game nights, dessert potlucks, and sing-a-long events. The Social Committee oversees the 2601 Parkway Book Club.
